Abell 39, PK 47+42.1. 2020-07-17, Cherry Springs (elev. 700 m), SQM 21.6. 20-inch Newtonian (F/4). Ocular 13 mm. Fairly large, round, almost annular, nebulosity extends to the central star, edge well defined, second star embedded just inside the enhanced edge on the S side. Similarly faint star is immediately off the SE edge; a brighter star is close to the W edge. The edge is particularly enhanced on the SE side. [The nebula is prominent on Panstarrs g, edge enhanced.]
