NGC 6664-6712

NGC 6664, OC, Sct. HVIII-12. A poor, scattered cluster that prominently contains a group of 6 stars that are arranged in a roughly equilateral and an isosceles triangle. 24 mm, CLS filter.

NGC 6694 (M26). OC, Sct. In a figure possibly involving foreground stars, this cluster has an integral-sign arrangement of stars running through it. It is dominated by a triangle of stars with the mass of fainter stars near its apex. 24 mm, CLS filter.

NGC 6705 (M11). OC, Sct. Beautiful rich cluster of largely uniform stars. The "wild duck" shape is actually outside the main mass on the side facing a bright star pair. The main mass has a more vague V shape with the lucida at its apex. 24 mm, CLS filter.

NGC 6712, GC, Sct. Diffuse nebulous patch at 24 mm with CLS filter. Remains unresolved at 8 mm.
