NGC 6755-6781

NGC 6755, OC, Aql. 12 mm. Cluster of faint stars, the brightest of which run at right angles with a line of stars in a brighter cluster that is adjacent (Czernik 39). [Cz 39 is smaller than the cluster now identified as NGC 6755. It may be a separate cluster astrophysically, but it is certain that the original NGC 6755 is the entire grouping.]

NGC 6756, OC, Aql. Barely resolved at 8 mm, shimmering with faint stars. Off-round near a vertex inside a triangle of brighter stars. A much brighter star near outside the triangle.

NGC 6779 (M56). GC, Lyr. 8 mm. Resolved across the core. Appears triangular and little compressed due to the brighter stars on its periphery.

NGC 6781, PN, Aql. 24 mm. Just seen without a filter. With OIII, round, annular, brighter toward the bright star in the field.
